I put in a small pond last year with a box filter that just never cleaned well. I added another small pond this year and bought the waterfall filter for it. It’s a great filter, was a breeze to assemble and install, it works as advertised and is just what I wanted.

on time! perfect condition! great packaging. However, please put something of relative size in your pictures. Item is larger in real life. Still perfect, though!

    Thank you!

I just received this a few days ago. Shipment arrived ahead of expected delivery date and in good shape. It seems well made. I mean, it is essentially a bucket with a wide, square lip, and an open cell foam pad with a plastic grill. Oh yes, and a nozzle where you attach a hose. In other words, it’s dead stupid simple and not much to screw up. However the weight of the plastic and overall construction seems sturdy and solid.

I haven’t installed it yet, so if anything comes up I’ll update. The connection of the nozzle to the ‘bucket’ has a plastic nut to hold it in place, and it uses rubber grommets for a seal. Be careful with that nut and don’t over tighten but make sure it’s tight enough. Most definitely you need to check closely for leaks. If there are any problems, this is where they are likely to happen.

Might be worth using some silicone to enhance the seal when you install it. I plan on putting silicone underneath the rubber grommets between the nozzle and the bucket and not smeared over the grommets. Otherwise not much to go wrong as long as you have a little sense (don’t crush it under 5 tons of rock or kick the nozzle, for example).

If I have any complaint, it’s that this item should sell for at least half of the $60ish dollars (minus shipping) that I paid. I mean, it’s just a plastic bucket with a couple of modifications.

I cancelled this order after I clicked on it with in minutes. When the seller sent the product anyway I took it to the local UPS and did a return to sender with out opening the box. Out of the 91 dollars I paid for it they refunded 37 dollars. Restocking fee and shipping retracted. I am not sure who is more to blame here. Amazon keeps giving me lip service about the a to z guarantee or the seller who just does not care that I never wanted this product. I emailed them both every step of the way to explain the product was too large for my needs.

Lesson learned. You have no recourse if Amazon does not do what is right. Last I spoke to Amazon’s customer service a woman from, India I believe, assured me it would all be refunded. 1 month now and no emails or refund. I am now a former Amazon customer. I was a prime member with over a hundred transactions. It just seems like a risky transaction now.

Very easy to set up. Came with 1″ and 1.25″ intake valves. Large vortex chamber where the water spins to remove large debris, and a fiber pad to remove the smaller stuff. It does come with a large mesh bag to hold bio-media, but you need to add your own. Long spillway for easier concealing, and the spillway has 3 ridges on the underside to help with dripping. I am happy with my purchase.
